    So far, This Is Perfect
I wanted a fairly inexpensive carbon fiber tripod for an upcoming trip to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Just can't justify spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars, as most of my tripods wind up living in the trunk of my car, never to see the light of day. This may finally be changing. This Davis and Sanford tripod is lightweight, and sets up easily. Breaks down even easier. While time will be the final judge, I think I'm going to be really happy with this tripod, and that it will actually get used. Can't wait to see what my shots look like with it, vs. hand held (which at my advanced age are starting to get a little shaky, no matter how much stabilization the lens might have).
